North Yarmouth Academy's Upper School offers a distinctive college-preparatory experience for grades 9PG in Yarmouth, Maine-just 10 minutes from Portland and two hours from Boston.
As a boarding and day school, NYA combines rigorous academics and personalized college counseling with exceptional opportunities in the arts, athletics, and leadership.
Boarding students live in our modern, suite-style residence hall with private baths.
Dining Services is directed by a two-time James Beard Award nominee. Signature programs include 7 Diplomas with Distinction, NEPSAC ice hockey, 18 AP courses, financial literacy curriculum, and, beginning in 2026 2027, a Music Scholar Program, preparing students to thrive academically, creatively, and personally.
Fryeburg Academy is an independent secondary school that serves a diverse population of local day students and boarding students from across the nation and around the world.
